“Don’t you have a guy I can talk to?” — this is how a young man addressed a group of young women protesting violence against women.
In recent days, several young women have been attacked by men in different locations.
“You won’t scare us by waiting outside our homes — we’re only just getting started!” the women declare.

“Our equipment was inside for 40 minutes. Several vehicles arrived with dark tinted windows. Five minutes later, they came out and told us: ‘We’ll return the equipment, but why did you come here and why were you asking questions about the ‘Khareba’?’”

“When we arrived at Giorgi [Shinjikashvili]’s house, his father was present. We approached and asked if we could speak with him. There’s a recording in which he says, ‘Come on in.’ He spoke to us normally, even said that his son had no conflict whatsoever with Khareba… We finished the interview, which was entirely voluntary.

Once we stepped outside, my cameraman was filming a shot, and suddenly [his father] rushed out, grabbed the camera from him, broke off part of the lighting and damaged several other parts… When he saw I had a mobile phone, he thought I was recording, and took that too… Then he swung his fist and hit me full force in the face and head. I’m dizzy, I have a severe headache and intense eye pain. We’re heading to the clinic.
