“Meanwhile, my accounts were frozen. This was a personal request from Zarkua, because my child was receiving social assistance as a dependent. The state had no right to freeze my accounts… The court hearing is scheduled for tomorrow at 13:00. ‘Defender of Manhood’ Irakli Zarkua vs. the Women of Zugdidi,” wrote activist Mariam Sichinava on social media.
For context, yesterday Mariam Sichinava and Keren Esebua reported that Irakli Zarkua had filed a complaint against them, because the activists confronted him with protest chants at a restaurant in Zugdidi.

At the City Court, activists Albi Kordzaia and Salome Kenchiashvili were reportedly detained. Albi Kordzaia had a Facebook Live video running, which was cut off at the moment of their detention.

Two activists, Albi Kordzaia and Salome Kenchiashvili, were detained near the Tbilisi City Court. In a video recorded by Kordzaia, it can be seen that they went to a nearby place to get coffee. One police officer is heard telling Kordzaia to take her coffee and leave the area.

“I’m standing here to drink coffee. I’m a citizen and I’ll drink coffee wherever I want. Do you seriously think you’re in Russia?” — Albi Kordzaia responded to the police.

Later, after the activists got their coffee, the video captures what seems to be a police officer’s voice saying, “Take your coffee and leave,” to which Kordzaia replies, “No, let go of me.” The recording then cuts off shortly after.
