Today, at the Tbilisi City Court, a hearing was held in the case of Mate Devizde, who was arrested during the post-election protests.
During today’s session, a police officer with victim status and the case investigator were questioned.
After the investigator’s testimony concluded, members of Mate Devizde’s family reacted with an outburst in the courtroom.
As a reminder, Mate Devizde is accused under the Criminal Code of physically assaulting three police officers. He faces a potential prison sentence of 4 to 7 years.

დღევანდელ პროცესზე გამოიკითხა საქმეში დაზარალებული სტატუსის მქონე პოლიციელი და საქმის გამომძიებელი.
საქმის გამომძიებლის გამოკითხვის დასრულებას მათე დევიძის ოჯახის წევრების ხმაური მოჰყვა.
შეგახსენებთ, რომ მათე დევიძეს სისხლის სამართლის კოდექსის შესაბამისად, 3 პოლიციელის ფიზიკურ დაზიანებას ედავებიან. ამის გამო მას 4-დან 7 წლამდე პატიმრობა ემუქრება
