Friends, I’m okay.
Many of you have been writing to me, so instead of replying individually, I want to respond to all of you here.

Many people have written about gas intoxication during the protests, and I’d like to share my experience as well. In my case, the acute effects appeared a bit later and reached their peak recently, although the symptoms were evident immediately, back in December.

I had to be hospitalized due to a sharp drop in my platelet count as shown in my blood tests. The symptoms included severe weakness, bruising, red spots on the skin, and excessive bleeding from small wounds. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see a doctor in time, which worsened my condition — but thankfully, it was treatable, and I’m feeling better now.

I’m not sharing this to scare you, but because I feel a responsibility to warn anyone who was present during the gas exposure at the protests to pay close attention to any changes in their health.

A sharp decrease in platelets in the blood can cause internal bleeding, not just under the skin, but also in vital organs — including the brain — and can even be fatal.

They basically poisoned us to the point of potential death and robbed us so thoroughly that many of us can’t even afford treatment.

So, please — if you have the means, get checked. And for those who don’t, let’s try to gather resources together and help each other.
