During the protests, Anastasia Zinovkina — detained on drug-related charges — publishes a letter from the Rustavi Women’s Penitentiary:

“This letter is a cry for help.
My name is Anastasia Zinovkina and I am being held captive in Rustavi, Women’s Colony No. 5.
On September 12 at 12:00 we were sentenced — Artem Gribul and I. Eight years and six months.
The same as Anton Chechin.
Although there are differences in our cases, we share a lot in common.
For example, the police — the same people planted drugs on him and on us.
For example, the ‘interpreters.’
For example, the same behavior of the penitentiary system: we are denied the medical care we need.
Because we provided medical care to people harmed in Rustavi.
They are killing us in prison.
Doctors do not come to us.

Please call the prisons where we are being held, call the Public Defender, every authority, the Ministry of Health.
Call, tell them our names, demand an explanation for why they brazenly dare to kill political prisoners this way.
