These are the words that Georgian police officers told Georgian women during protests—not in a play, but in real life! How hypocritical are those who get outraged over vulgarity in art or supposed offenses to religion, yet stay silent in the face of real injustices: women beaten and bruised during protests, girls doused in green antiseptic, entire cities left without livelihoods, the damaged frescoes of Gelati, or a man tortured to death in prison.
Look in the mirror. See what you’ve become. I hope this is the last time I have to write about this

In Batumi, an Activist is Being Tried for Posting a Sticker – The Trial of Tsiala Katamidze
Tsiala Katamidze was detained at a protest in Batumi on January 11, 2025, for posting a sticker that read “Georgia Stirkes”. She placed the sticker in a public space—on the entrance of the Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The activist was detained by Batumi Police Chief Irakli Dgebuadze under Article 150 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which refers to the defacement of appearance. However, Article 150 of the Administrative Code does not grant police the authority to detain individuals.

სტიკერის – „იფიცება საქართველო“ გაკვრის გამო ციალა ქათამიძე ბათუმში 2025 წლის 11 იანვრის აქციაზე დააკავეს– მან სტიკერი საჯარო სივრცეში, შსს-ს აჭარის პოლიციის დეპარტამენტის შესასვლელთან გააკრა. აქტივისტი ბათუმის პოლიციის უფროსმა, ირაკლი დგებუაძემ დააკავა ასკ-ის 150-ე მუხლის საფუძველზე, რაც გულისხმობს იერსახის დამახინჯებას, თუმცა ასკ-ის150-ე მუხლის საფუძველზე პოლიციას არ აქვს ვინმეს დაკავების უფლება.
